This pendant is made from and elongated stone found on the beach; it has been painted red using acrylic paint. The wire wrapping is made from copper wire; with an inset red Swarovski crystal.

The inspiration for this piece again came from the raw material. I knew that the stone needed to be painted as the surface would have rubbed off on the wearer. AS the base stone was red; the overcoat needed to maintain the same colour. The nest step was working out how to encapsulate it in the wiring. The top side just evolved naturally to create the piece before you.
