Ah, the sun and it’s beautiful rays, aways creating such magnificent landscapes. I loved how the solar flare created the yellow hew in this image. I guess this is not the first time I was mesmerised by the sun’s play in the world, and coupled with this lonely person at the bus stop, made for a magical image.
The dawn of a new day follows the sun set of the previous evening, and so the cycle of life continues. We wake we live we sleep and so it goes. For some this constant cycle of dawn and sun set and dawn again, can feel monotonous and bland. For some other people this eternal cycle provides a new opportunity for greatness, for reflection for contemplation. The perspective on the world is such a personal experience, much like the perception of a photo.
I remember a few years back when I speaking to a friend as we were watching the architecture unfold below our feet, and he was saying how he disliked the mishmash of styles. This friend disliked the fact that the old buildings were next to some modern ones, or that one blended into the other. To me, the photographer, it looked amazing, to me this blend of old and new created a more engaging landscape. It allowed me to use the old to showcase the new, and vice versa. In the end we had to agree to disagree, as he was looking at it from his perspective of his love of architecture and appreciation of the older styles, and me I was looking at it from a creative perspective.
