This section of my site focuses on my hand made jewelry and will feature individual pieces via the various albums.
My inspiration for these pieces come from the world I see around me. As I tend to use items from nature i.e. stones, shells, sea glass- sometimes the pendant or earring has a unique shape and in the main will influence the outcome of the piece.
All pieces are available to buy, however due to the uniqueness of the “main element” it might be that I can only create that piece once; therefore some of the pendants are limited edition.
As with all hand made pieces some imperfections may arise; though these should not distract from the overall look of the item.
For me the “main element” is the stone; the bead; the crystal – that sets the creativity in motion. When i sit down; I start with a base wire; and as i spend time with the “min element” the decorative setting evolves. Sometimes a piece takes 10 minutes to finish; sometimes it takes longer. Sometimes a piece is created then taken apart as it does not match the setting.
