I took this picture at “Beal park” in the UK. This prairie dog was minding it’s own business on his rock; he must have heard the shutter go and just froze in place. He did not move for at least 1/2 a minute…I guess he was hoping i would just move on.
I did eventually leave after I took several snaps on him/her :)
