Hello all. When I started this website it was dedicated both to my photography and my jewellery making but I feel like I have been neglecting the jewellery side somewhat. At the week-end I have done a bit of film editing of my Instagram live videos, I condensed down what would be 4 hours of video to a fast 10 minute and 4 minute videos.
This is a moss agate wire wrapped in silver wire – this of course is available in my Etsy shop, I say of course, but you probably have not seen it yet. The whole process did take about 4 hours to create it from start to finish; I uploaded the condensed video of just over 10 minutes here. I created this piece live on Instagram, so I re-used the footage to showcase my process.
This pendant was also created during an Instagram live event, once again the whole process took just over 3 hours, the footage I condensed the live footage to just over 4 minutes, and you can see it here. This piece can be purchased in my British online shop on Folksy.
These pendants and many more are available in my two shops, I do ship internationally, and if your budget may be tight, get in touch, give me a shout, let’s see what we can do via my shops. Of course a like will never go amiss either.
Thank you for taking the time to watch, visit or read this blog.
Catch you on the interwebs team.
An absolutely stunning amethyst stone, wire wrapped in tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire. The size of the stone allowed for a much more complicated design, that reminds me of rococco style pieces.
This is a chunky pendant that looks beautifully on a long chain, and for your convenience a silver plated chain will be included. It would look amazing with a beautiful dress, and even with a V-neck t-shirt.

Last month I was showing of a triangular brecciated-jasper pendant, this month I listed my second piece with a distinctly different and yet similar stone. This brecciated-jasper stone has high levels of hematite veins all over, so the best silver filled setting was a very simple wire weave.
If you would like to own it, click here – to visit my Etsy listing, and of course if jasper is not your thing, have a look around I have a large collection of wearable art pieces available.

Random acts of kindness is something that is indeed dear to my heart, as this can help someone understand that the human family is indeed a family. When you help out a perfect stranger because you have the means, the kindness you showed ripples through time and space and unites us all in love.
“Paying it forward” is another way to show that one day someone believed in you enough to help you out, so that when the time comes and you have the means to do so, you can in turns brighter up someone else’s day.
Hope you have a wonderful day out there in the world, and that someone thinks of you today.
Send a virtual hug, or give an actual hug, say a nice word to your neighbor or engage in conversation someone who seems to need it.
To you my reader, I send gratitude and wish you a wonderful day wherever you are in the world.
YOU MATTER, YOU ARE SPECIAL, YOU ARE LOVED.

At the start of December 2020 I took part in the Folksy Christmas market with my Folksy shop. During the two days of the virtual market, I did some live demonstrations on my Instagram feed. At the time I was live for about 8 hours in total.
I completed the two pendants below during the live event.

It is day two of the Folksy Christmas market via Peddle UK.

As always it is available for purchase on my online Folky shop.
the pendant looks simple and yet it took 2 hours to wrap. YEs; you read right – though the wrapping seems simple; I still had to figure out how to finish off the pendant. By the end I had 6 pieces of wire to finish off in a way that it will not unrevel or poke out anywhere.
The item ships world wide; but my UK followers have free shipping included in the price.
This intricat pendant has at the core an orange-red piece of coral. The wrapping encapsulates the coral organically. The wire used is tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire.

Not long left until Christmas time is here for Christians across the globe. It is a time to spend with family and friends. It is a time for celebration and gifting.
For many of us, this time can be very stressful to get the “right gift”. Gifts do not have to be big. Gifts can be small and home made. Or even locally made.
These beautiful pieces are still available in my Etsy shop.

This simple yet elegant silver pendant is made using 0.99 silver wire. 7g of wire was intertwined for a simple elegant design.
The centre stage is taken up by a delicate pink opal sourced from SaraGemsCo (Etsy) – country of origin -India. Sarah had this to say about the pendant “You are really a great and skilled artist. You really made this pendant a beautiful art piece. You turned only wires and a cabochon into a pendant without any silver welding joints. We really appreciate your Work. We know it takes so much time, work and skill. Hats Off to your Beautiful Work. “
Due to the delicate colouring of the stone; I wanted to create a simple design to showcase the beauty of the gem.
The piece will come in an organza bag for safe storage and a 21 inch silver plated chain free of charge.
*Though I used silver wire for this piece; like all metals silver will age; so please cleaning gently with no harsh chemicals.
Preferably do take it off prior to a shower or a bath; as it may tarnish the wire.
Always rotate your jewellery pieces; wearing one item all the time may tarnish the piece; having different pendants on creates a new look.
Available to buy on here: Pink Opal Pendant
The stone itself was the inspiration for this piece; the webbing and detail allows for the stone to be center stage. It is bold and delicate at the same time.
The design was a fluent inspirational work; often when I pick up a stone it is impossible to know what the end piece will look like. it may mean that it will start off as a simple design and it evolves along the way. Sometimes I create something then just to cut it all up and start again. Often something that starts off as simple; requires additional twists and turns for the final piece to emerge.
Wire wrapping makes each piece individual; I do not use templates to create the pieces; they evolve organically through the process of wrapping. Each piece takes a number of hours to complete; whilst each wrap is done by hand..
Lapis lazuli has always been a precious commodity. In the time of Leonardo DaVinci; Michelangelo and decades previous the color blue was obtained by crushing the stone and turning it into a vibrant color. If you were able to have blue in your painting back in those days it meant you were rich. Or as one musician said at one point “rich beyond your wildest dreams”.
The elegance of this pendant reminds me of those days long gone; when elegance was the word of the day; you can buy it on Folksy.
I am always excited when I am able to produce individual pieces from drawing to finished article.
This piece is the result of jotting down some drawings whilst having my morning Saturday coffee. It is simple and yet elegant with clan flowing design.
The hematite beads hang wrapped in the same tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire.
It hangs beautifully from a 24″ chain – is suitable for an elegant evening out or indeed part of a day time attire. Below is an opportunity for you to purchase this unique piece.

**A NOTE: Wire wrapping is a genre of jewelry which requires pliable wire to be shaped into each piece. As a piece progresses, the wire hardens and it will retain it’s shape, however if you try to bend it or it gets squished, it will bend. Do not place your wire wrapped jewelry in a purse or pocket. :) Though all silver plated pieces are made from tarnish resistant wire; it may age; as most metals do. Mild soap and water shouldn’t damage the finish, however I do recommend removing your jewelry before showering or bathing; using household cleaners, chemicals, or essential oils; doing manual jobs like gardening or washing dishes; and applying lotions. Do not use jewelry cleaners on this jewelry. Sometimes the plating can wear off with excessive use – therefore I recommend not wearing the pieces every day. Rotating your beautiful jewelry pieces creates a new look for you; and changes your mood for that day.
This intricate pendant is wire wrapped in tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire.
The gem stone is a translucent semi precious green Jade stone. Due to the translucency of the stone photographing the true colour was tricky; the stone has silver veins running through it; giving the pendant a unique look pending on the light.
The size of the pendant will look amazing on a long chain (included). The pendant comes packaged in a gold organza bag; for safe storage.

Sea shell pendant
(price included postage and packaging; 24" silver plated chain; comes in a handy storage pouch - international shipping)
This pendant is hand made using a sea shell that I found on the shores of the ocean in Portugal. The town of Cascais was an ideal place to collect shells on the sandy beaches. True it takes some searching to find inspiring items; but when you find it – it just allows for imagination to flow. due to the shimmering light of the shell – i felt introducing a pearl in the pendant would create a story for this piece.
The shell has been coated with clear varnish to preserve it from the effects of the atmosphere. Nestled in the wire wrapping is a cultured pearl. The wire wrapping is made using tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire.
The pendant is reversible; if can be used either with the pearl showing or its back of the shell. This pendant would suit anyone who like eco jewelry or jewelry made from up-cycled materials.
If you wish to purchase this item you can do so buying it here or by visiting my Etsy page: Sea shell pendant

Mystical powers of the moonstone:
Moonstones are associated with love and affection; It is an excellent crystal for first or new love, and is a comforting talisman if love must be kept a secret. It is a perfect gift if you wish to show that special someone that you care for her. It is also said that it is the perfect crystal to attract love; so if you are looking for a special someone; this crystal will bring him/her to you.
As all crystals this too should be cleansed so that it can charge with your energy; it can be done by putting directly in the light of the Moon or with water.

The amethyst as a stone it has some mystical healing powers if one believes in this:
Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone which works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to promote calm, balance, and peace. It is also used to eliminate impatience. (http://meanings.crystalsandjewelry.com/amethyst/)
The pendant shape was directed by stone. As in most of my items design comes second. The shape of the stone and the mood on the day creates the style the embellishment and the final look of the item. The creative element comes in at every stage of the piece development; this intricate design is unique and I will not be able to reproduce it.
This particular pendant took me approximately 7 hours to complete involving a number of meters of wiring. The final item resembling a flower with a purple heart; in fact the amethyst itself resembles the shape of a human heart.
This piece would be an amazing gift with a meaning.
Pendant is made from tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire. At the heart of the pendant is a speck of obsidian black stone.
If you wish to purchase this you can do so on my Folksy page: The web of life (Price: £45+postage)
Size: 6 cm X 5 cm
International shipping is also available – please contact me for details.
This piece came about whilst trying to re-produce a drawing of mine.In fairness the drawing would lend itself perfectly to a soldered piece and as I have not learned that technique i tried to reproduce it in wire.
The pendant has 5 overlapping layers; each weaved on its own and then attached one on top of the other. It is build up to have a three dimensional feel to it. The core has an Obsidian black shard suspended on wire.
it is indeed a statement piece at 6 cm X 5 cm it hangs well on a longer chain; and can compliment any day time or evening attire.
It is unique as the same patterns will not be able to be reproduced; even if i tried to create it again the shape the size the webb will be different; just as our lives is different from one day to the next
Three crystal jewelry

If you wish to purchase any one of these items you can do so directly from here or via this lin Three bead silver plated pendant on Etsy. (Price: £45+shipping)
The dimensions of the pendant are as follows: length: 8cm/ 3.1 inch ; width: 3cm/ 1.2 ich
The inspiration for this pendant came by using a tutorial. Yes I try to see how others are doing things to gain insight into methods of wrapping.
The intricate weaving and shapes were dictated by the wires and the beads; and it allowed me to lose myself in the detail when making it. By the time the pendant was finished it dawned on me that it could be linked up with the steampunk fashion trend; due to the curvy and circular lines of the weave.
As it is a hand made object; re-creating an exact replica will be impossible; which is why it is a unique piece of jewelry.
This item will look nice on a long hanging necklace and can be worn during the day or as part of a night outfit.
The pendant is made from tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire and tarnish resistant red copper wire studded with white and black Swarovski crystals. The design itself was first of all conceived as a Christmas decoration and in the end it rendered itself to being a pendant to be worn with amazing evening outfits and day time looks.

The main shell I found it on the shores in Kimmeridge – South of England. I knew then that the only way to use it is to have something else suspended inside it. This gave birth to the piece you see before you. The trickiest part was working out how to attach the second shell inside so as to have the illusion as if one floats inside the other.
