I guess now that we are closer than ever to becoming a galactic people, fantasy is no longer needed to connect with the stars.
I wonder the story behind this person having the full collection.
I wonder about the energy they invested in this collection.
I wonder the memories connected to the collection.
I then wonder of the turmoil of thoughts this person may have had when they considered parting with it.
At the time when the series came out, a great deal of effort, money, resources and time was invested. And I suppose it is not just the “now” energy of “in the moment ” that was invested, but also the projected energy of imagining a time when we will be able to do the same.
I can see the energy weaving and creating that possible future by the owner projecting him or herself towards that vision and story line. This person has visited strange new worlds, travelled to distant glalaxies that nobody has been to before, with a vivid and open imagination.
To some this will be just a pile of plastic, through a medium that is no longer used, using technology that is ancient. And yet the subject is of the future, it is of a humanity that has reached a state of evolution when we can visit other worlds, we follow the prime directive of non intervention, where we respect other cultures, where we abstain from warring with each other.
It is a wonderful juxtaposition of the old, the now and the future combined. I love how the time line merges in one picture.
And yes., it is a #picturewithameaning
What project have you invested so much time in, just to then have to discard it?
How often have yiu discarded something and then regret your actions?
How many times have you offered up something to others because you thought they needed it, just to be thrown that very thing back in your face?
Have you ever put yourself out there and you felt rejected?
What did you do to overcome that?
Did you learn how to use that rejection as a power point to pivot in a new direction?
For context…the same box was there 14hours later, still offering itself up as a potential, and yet….nobody wanted it.
