A close-up view of falling snowflakes against a grey background, creating a wintry scene.

The snowflakes, water taking on a different form, for just a few hours, creating a scene full of fuzzy fluffy stuff.

Water has many forms depending on the environment in which it finds itself, goes from a liquid to a gas to a solid and yet at base it is just water.

Now why would I bring water in it’s various for to a discussion that wants to explore the human self/ As humans of course we can not switch states as least not in the comonly held belief systems. We are meant to be solid matter and that is it. But what about during meditation, or during sleep, do we take on a different form/ Of course we do not, but our consciousness does appears to take on different form. During dreams we may pick up skills we do not know dring our waking moments, in meditations we can reach world that can’t be seen whilst we are awake. The human psyche can achieve a great many things, if the human just get out of it’s own way.

Have you had a dream, which you worked towards, and until you wanted both body and soul, somehow it just seem to take forever to realise/ Have you noticed how, the moment you consciously decide on something, everything is unavchievable? Have you noticed how sheer will power is not enough to achieve what you wish? Sure it helps, but you have to really be able to imagine all details, how it feels, how it looks, how it smells, how it behaves – before the mind and body can understand what it is you want.

So I guess we are not like water, we can not take on a different form, but if we put our mind to it, and we inform the body, we can mould ourselves in whatever we dream of. We are but one dream away.
