How’s your glass today?!

After yesterday’s super serious entry, time for some fun and seriousness again. As I was scrolling through my pictures I came across this image of the clay pot with oranges. This is one of many images I took at the orange and lemon festival in Menton, France in 2009. It jumped out because it had an obvious theme, are you a cup full or half empty kind of person? My view is, it is just a pot, how full or empty you find it, is a matter of your perception, I just want one of those oranges 😊

So how to you perceive the world? Do you see it as full of wonder and amazing opportunities? Or do you perceive it as a threatening doom and gloom kinda place?

I want to ask you to cast your mind back to one of my earlier posts this month, what is it that you consume every day?

Do you watch the news? Do you scroll endlessly on social media in hope for better news?

Are you worried about the next meal? Are you worried you do not have the right make-up? Or are you enjoying the sound of the rain? The feel of the gentle breeze through the window? The amazing striations on a moth? The fabulous green of the grass?

How do you wake up in the morning? Putting your feet heavily on the ground holding your hand, already dreading the day? Or do you wake up with gratitude for a new day and voicing your gratitude for an amazing day ahead?

The pot is just a pot, you can choose to see the cigarette butt by the orange or just see the oranges and lemons inside. The choice is always yours.
