Once again a poster in a public place, is bringing us some wisdom.
Have you noticed how in every day life, we pass so much written stuff, which of course our brains sees but we do not consciously pick up? Do you know what that does to your brain?
I have actually done a course as part of my degree, which focused on the written environment and the influence it has on us as humans, fascinating stuff.
Well, technically you are reading this, and it is written, so…you know…am just saying….
But, I digress, or am I?
Idiom: “An idiom is a phrase or expression that typically presents a figurative, non-literal meaning attached to the phrase; but some phrases become figurative idioms while retaining the literal meaning of the phrase.”
Well, I guess this image is a perfect example of this – have you spotted the writing in the window? or were you just drawn to what it said in the speech bubble?
I had this image earmarked for a post for a while now, but somehow today it felt right to post it. So what are the gifts you had your doubts about?
What are those thing that you can not just accept but you have to churn over and over again in your head hoping to find the hidden meaning?
Is there a hidden meaning to everything, or can it just be?
What is it about your every day life, that you have to question all the time?
Is there validity to your questioning?
What is the evidence?
And if there is evidence, rather than a story you are telling yourself about, then are you doing anything about it?
Are you taking the action needed to rectify, delete or level out about?
Can you recognise some events, happenings, instances as a gift or an opportunity to learn and evolve?
Are you searching a gift horse in the mouth today?
Time to take out your diary and take some notes when answering the questions.
