A view of a clear blue sky with the moon visible, featuring several trees, one with mistletoe and others appearing leafless.

Today, during my cycle ride, I captured this image of the moon above these amazing trees. Clearly my phone camera is not as brilliant as my DSLR, but I could not pass the chance of capturing this image.

I guess the juxtaposition of the near objects with the furthest possible visible point in the sky was too magical to miss out on. After yesterday’s Earth Day, is befitting to showcase how we relate to the universe around us.

So my question for today I guess, which part of your life feels close and yet so far away that it might as well be the Moon?

Do you have a dream?

A project that you have not started because you felt the steps are just too far apart?

Have you ever wondered how to get closer to your thoughts and feelings; which may allow you to get closer to your dreams?

Have you even plotted a plan of how to get to where you want to get to?

Have you cut any branches away on your tree of thoughts, maybe branches that are getting in the way?

Have you ever wondered if perhaps the dream is really a dream because it is not ecological with other areas of your life?

Is your dream congruent with each area of your life and with everyone around you?

Is there any quicksand that you sometimes fall into that could be a feeling or a thought and you get stuck?

Have you taken the time to contemplate and quietened your mind so you can allow for that inner voice to surface and just allow you to enjoy the journey of discovery?!

I could have just looked on the sky, noted that there is the same Moon on the sky, and yet today the same moon from yesterday created a different image on the sky with the trees, today I had a different perspective.

Is yours near or far?!
