For the past month, everyone in Europe has been enjoying some much-needed entertainment, just like in Roman times, so why not take you to the same pitch and get you thinking about your life choices?
In ancient Rome, the colosseum was used as a place of entertainment; as a way of “keeping the masses busy and content” and then Caesar could do anything he wanted and the local populace would not rebel.
So, for the past 4 weeks, Europe was glued to their entertainment box as the ball went from one side to the other of the pitch.
Today, I will ask you to look at this pitch and consider it in a different way.
I am wondering where on the pitch are you when it comes to your life and your inner world?
Are you in the stands watching the game called life?
Are you at the centre waiting for the game to begin?
Are you in an attack mode in the hopes of scoring the goal of your life?
Are you in defence, holding on to dear life?
Do you have a team working alongside you? Or do you have a team that’s playing with you?
Have a think, how do you place yourself on the pitch of life?
Time to take out your diary and take some notes when answering the questions.
