A tram displaying 'Angered' on its destination board, passing on tracks alongside a roadway.

Another funny one from Sweden. I am sure that the bus was not meant to say it was angry, but that it was going to a particular district, but to an English speaker, this was just too funny to not immortalise. I often chuckle to myself when on the bus I see signage; usually in my town the busses are polite and tell us how sorry they are but they are not in use. Clearly this particular tram decided it had enough for the day and had to let everyone know about it.

But really, as human beings, how good are we truly at hiding our feelings? How easy are we to read by others? Do you think that you are able to hide what you are thinking? Are you indeed able to not plaster it all over your face, if an intense emotion is felt?

All through this year, I have been trying to get you to consider your inner world and to evaluate how your inner world interacts with the outside world. I have been trying to get you to consider how the inner and outer are in a symbiotic relationship. How you feel on the inside will inevitably be reflected on the outside world, and if nothing changes in the inside, how are things meant to change on the outside. You can continue to have a tumultuous inner world, rife with regret, shame and anger and hope that the outside world is not meeting you with instances where that shame, regret and anger will not be invoked, Of course, we know that if negative emotions or thoughts are thought or felt within, they will reflect and attract what is on the outside.

This bus is just a visual representation perhaps, for some, on how they feel. Perhaps if we had a sign just like that, on our forehead, perhaps the world would be more honest and we would treat each other better.

What sign do you have to either take down and change, or put up for safety?
