We are returning for a brief moment to Lisbon, Portugal and admire the tower at Belém. I took this picture one morning from the tourist bus, I guess 9 am along the river, is not the time to go sight seeing.
The picture caught my eye, purely for the title.
“Haven’t got the foggiest” is a different way of saying “I have no idea”; and I guess none of us hve any idea why we are on this planet what purpose, if any, do we have. None of us get born with a clear ad straight plan of who and what we will become.
Yesterday, the theme was “your anxiety is lying to you”, well, actually your whole brain is lying to you. Have you noticed how information gets distorted? Have you noticed how your memory is not the same? Have you noticed how what you say is fact, and you know it is fact, someone can come along and demolish your perspective?
We all walk around thinking we are certain of our lives. We all walk around as if we know what we are talking about. But do you truly know anything? Do you have a grasp of every aspect of knowledge out there? Do you really have a clue of what is going on out there?
I have to admit, that I haven’t got the foggiest of what is happening out there, and yet what I do know is that tomorrow the sun will rise again, and I will fake it until I make it. Are you?
