A picture from Spain offers us the backdrop to the theme of the day. A story is but a myriad of ideas linked up in one coherent whole. This shutter is also a combination of multiple elements that on their own would not make sense, but when pieced together they form a intricate pattern, a joy to watch.
When we present ourselves as a human being to another, we too on face value may look plain and non descript, but when we add the details, life becomes meaningful.
When you are talking about yourself to others how many times do you just your story to the bare minimum? How many times do you speak about yourself with high esteem? How many times do you tap into the story of you, by presenting the intricate web of evets that makes you, YOU?
Often I wonder how other people perceive me, and no doubt my inner view of self is very different of the story I show on the outside.
This window dressing is similar. It is just a wooden object, that until someone recognises it’s value and worth, it’s just a piece of wood.
Have you found your value yet? Do you think your story is worth something? Do you think YOU are worth it? Would you want to meet YOU on the street? And if you met yourself what would your impression be of yourself? Would you give yourself the time of day?
Are you worth it?
Time to take out your diary and take some notes when answering the questions.
