We are coming back to London to consider how high we can get in the world. The skyline of this beautiful city has changed a lot. The high rising buildings you see before you in the background have been built in the past 5 years. London decided to aim high with its office buildings, in total contrast to the brick-and-mortar bridges from the foreground.
After the break, and the moment of silence I hope you have managed to get yesterday, I invite you to lift yourself up and consider, what is it that lifts your spirits?
Sometimes sitting in silence helps, sometimes songs help, but I wonder what else do you do to bring your own self back to today and re-engage with the world?
The city of London has been through many difficult periods in its history: the plague, the fire, the bombs, and yet the Londoners have always found a way to rebuild, to get themselves back on track. Life has never been cheap in London; nor was it easy, and yet, as a city, it continues to flourish and is reborn every year.
I am sure that just like London; you too have gone through events that have left scars that at times fester, at times close up, at times just stay open raw and without hope of healing.
I am wondering how do you manage to be reborn time and time again?
How do you come out from the depths in order to reach higher than you have before?
Do you do anything special?
Do you connect with anyone in particular?
Do you take time alone, or in a group? And of course, depending on the depth of your soul is how high you need to then climb, to get back to even ground.
The city of London, has layers of history in its bedrock from ancient to modern times, and if you have the chance to walk the streets or find a guide that can take you to its depth; you can discover a very different story, a story under ground, at the heart, with all the grime and dirt that got deposited along its long history.
Let us find the way up again together; and jot down your thoughts of how to find your way up, as high as you can.
As always join in the conversation in a comment, or journal your thoughts. We are ready to evolve, join us on the journey of discovery.
