Time to return to London South side and join the ride.
Each one of us wakes up in the morning with renewed hopes of a different day and different experience. But does the experience change if we do not change the thinking we have? Does life remain the same or is it different if each morning the same thoughts get churned over and over?
I asked you this question a few times in the past few months. Has your thinking changed at all? Have you changed what you are consuming? Is your routine different, or are you still getting out the same side of the bed, and then carry on doing the same routine?
Life is similar to a funfair. There are thrills if we seek them, there are rides if we get on them, there is food if we want it, and there is a final moment in our life when we check out and move on. And of course, just like in a funfair, we can enjoy the rides and get on even more rides, or be sick on the first ride and then mull around miserable for the rest of the day and avoid everything. And of course, just like at a funfair, we might have to wait our turn, or line up, or pay for an upgrade to get on better rides, but generally the choice of whether we join is our own. And once we enter the realm of the funfair, the options are there to take advantage of, or sit and watch people having fun.
How do you treat life? Do you take the rides? Are you enjoying it? Or did you give up after the first time you got sick?
Resilience is something we all have within us, it is inscribed in our DNA. If we did not, we would not have survived as a species. You would not be reading these sentences.
If we had no resilience, or no drive to get better at things, you would not be using the internet to check these entries out.
So, with the start of a new day, I invite you to join the ride. Just like I asked you a few weeks back, go outside, smell a flower and blow out some candles and enjoy the beauty that Earth has to offer
As always join in the conversation in a comment, or journal your thoughts. We are ready to evolve, join us on the journey of discovery.
