Today was a special day within the spiritual world. It is the day called the “Lion’s gate”; a day when a few celestial bodies come together to create a strong energetic field. Of course this alignment is not recognised by everyone on the planet, so whether you are tapping into this energy or not, I hope you did have a good day.
For me, it was about reconnecting with nature, being our in the country side and enjoying the woodland. Before we even got into the woodland, this expanse of camomile greeted us, and it was only when I walked a bit further did I notice the poppy in the middle of the sea of white. It was as if this poppy decided to just be different all of a sudden. To me this image also represents the power of a single person in the world. Amid almost 8 billion people, all it takes is one human to be different, and things can change. And of course, if each individual decides to express their individuality, imagine what an amazing place it would be.
This sea of camomile can also represent a school, where all children are required to dress the same, follow the rules, listen to what they are being told, follow but never question. Now imaging being the red flower, that decides to ask the first question of why these rules, why are we asked to only listen and not question, why do we have to follow the rules?
This could be society at large, being told the same rhetoric from all TV stations, all radio stations, all social media platforms, and this could be the population at large just all doing as they are told, all facing the same way, all going along with the group think. Until, one day, someone challenges the status quo, asked uncomfortable questions, starts considering that perhaps this is not how it should be, perhaps this is just propaganda.
This poppy has managed to grow and flourish amid the camomile, it decided to be unique. It could have grown amid hundreds of poppies, could have been the same amid the crowd and yet, its seed was carried by the wind to grow solitary and be unique.
Today is a new start, with a new energy, the question is, are you comfortable with being a camomile, or are you willing to be the poppy?
