Time to give yourself a present. If you could give yourself anything, what would it be? And if you received the present would you be so enthusiastic as a child?
When have you lost your childlike wonder about the world? Or have you?
When we are discovering the world for the first time, and we start asking the questions about the things we see, no filters are in place. Every answer begets another “but why”, and another “but why” and with every “why” there is an “aha”, and for every “aha” there is another “but why”. And with each question, the world becomes even more complex, until socialisation, cultural norms, fear of ridicule, fear of getting it wrong, fear of standing our, fear of loosing control, any kind of fear of…, puts in limits to our wonder.
How much do you investigate your world around you, just as you did when you were a toddler?
How brave are you to try something out that is new, just like a toddler would? How enthusiastic are you about yet another day, just like a toddler?
A present can be just having the wonder for the present moment
As always join in the conversation in a comment, or journal your thoughts. We are ready to evolve, join us on the journey of discovery.
