Shell and pearl pendant

Description

This pendant is made from a sea shell found on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal.

The shell is wire wrapped with tarnish resistant silver plated copper wire. Nestled in the shell is a white cultured pearl.

This pendant can be worn with the pearl showing or the yellow back of the shell; the wrapping allows for a reversible pendant.

The shell has been coated with a layer of clear varnish to preserve it – the varnish may wear off with time.

As it is a natural material I would not recommend showering whilst you have the pendant on, nor would i recommend using chemicals to clean it as it may damage the piece.

The item will come with a handy organza pouch and a silver plated chain; ready to wear.
