Another angel asked to come and join us in the discussion, if you remember we already had one visiting us in October. At the time it was the message of hope, and I guess today once more it’s coming along for the ride.
For many people in the world an angel is a messenger of the Divine, a symbol of the good things to come, a positive message.
The title for today is “the promise land”, something that as human beings we have been raised believing in. You may be reading this from across the globe, with different points of view and belief systems, and yet if you actually paid attention, this concept of a promise land is used in every culture.
For some people the promise land may actually mean being a different place on the planet, in the hopes of a better life. For some it may mean that new car. For some it may be that new job. For some may mean a hot meal for the first time in months.
If we look deep inside, we all carry an image of the promise land. If we look deep inside, we all hope that someday somehow our dreams will made manifest.
Some people actually go out in the world and make their dream manifest through action. They set themselves a goal and they achieve it. They don’t complain, they do not procrastinate, they spark ideas and they follow through.
Some people however sit down and wait, in the hope that some outside force will come and intervene and things will be different.
The other day I was ruminating about some clients and was effectively arguing with myself on how could I explain what they needed to do in order to live a better life, or actually live a more authentic life. And of course, the cycle of change showed itself as a concept. Many human beings are able to recognise when change is needed and yet they come up with the most sophisticated excuses for not acting on the change that is needed. Many have gotten used to so much to others bailing them out, that they have lost their ability to fins solutions for themselves. Some people blame others for their failure. And yet there are those also who do not see that there is a problem. When I was ruminating the other day, I was thinking of a set of clients who despite knowing there is an issue, they used excuses upon excuses to not start anything. They were effectively like a statue on their knees trying to get help from an unseen force in the hopes that something will improve their lives.
Do you take action in your life?
Do you sit there waiting for some outside force to swoop in and save you?
Do you spend more times contemplating than doing something about it?
Are you hoping that someday your twin flame will come?
Do you hope for some entity to help you win the lottery?
And what if you never bought the ticket in the first place, don’t you think the entities will tell you “go and buy that ticket you dummy!”, what then?!
Time to take out your diary and take some notes when answering the questions.
