A bug’s life

I tried to immortalise two bugs on the cherry tree, as they strutted their stuff on the bark, the tiny orange specks in the sea of green.

Sometimes when I consider how small I am compared to the planet; I too feel like a bug strutting its stuff in the sea of green.

Have you ever contemplated how small you are compared to the planet? And despite your size; you believe that the universe owes you something? That perhaps the whole universe is against you? That an all-mighty god has only your business to know and sort out? Hm… sometimes as human beings we forget how insignificant we truly are in the grandest of schemes in the universe.

So, if we are so small and insignificant, why should we bother?

Well, I challenge you to consider how small a virus is; and how afraid everyone is of it?!

Any virus knows its purpose of being and it just does its thing without question.

Us humans, however, seem to question our existence every 5 minutes and get depressed about it just as many times.

Have you gone at least half a day without feeling like you do not matter?

Have you gone a day without questioning your very existence?

Has a year passed without you wondering why are you in this planet?

What is your role on this green Earth?
