I took this image of the trees as we were travelling towards Girona, Spain. It was fascinating seeing all the trees lined up.
The symmetry caught my eye most of all, and that is what made me think of the word alignment.
As human beings, we are often misaligned between our thoughts, feelings, and our body. A trinity that, if it is out of sync, can lead to disease or issues of the mind.
As modern humans, we have lost that inner world connection that our ancestors may have had.
As ancient humans, we were very aware of the importance of food in order to survive. It was very important to use our internal alarm systems in order to survive, and when all of our basic needs were met, then we would even find time to philosophise. For a brief period in our human history, we were able to enjoy the balance; and yet in this modern world, we lost that once again.
We are told that our body needs to be in a certain way, or else we are not worthy.
We are told we need to think in a certain way or face rejection.
We must try to forget emotions, that way we are less likely to develop other issues.
But are these ways of being helpful to us?
Are these concepts of life helping us to be coherent and aligned to create a coherent self?
Does your body feel at ease?
Does your mind feel rested?
Do your feelings cause you to enjoy every moment of life equally?
Are you aligned?
What is it that you need to do in order to feel whole and united? As always join in the conversation in a comment, or journal your thoughts. We are ready to evolve, join us on the journey of discovery.
