Feed me

Feeding birds in London, an unsuspecting tourist hoping that the seagulls will not fly away with it’s fingers. I took this picture 13 years ago and today I came across it. When I looked at it the idea that popped into my head was how often do we feed emotions, states of being or a mood in a similar fashion like to tourist. It made me consider how sometimes all it takes is a morsel of something and we latch on to it like seagulls to bread. How our mood can instantly change and we constantly feeding it with things. I guess it goes back to the conversation we already had a few weeks ago, of what we consume is what will feed what we have inside. It’s like when you open a packet of crisps (chips if you live in the US) and if you leave the bag open for a bit they all get soggy and not worth eating. In a similar fashion we pick up things from our environment and presto we become that soggy crisp.

Hm, what did you feed inside you today? What made you become that stale crisp? Has a “seagull” stolen a part of you today?

As always join in the conversation in a comment, or journal your thoughts. We are ready to evolve, join us on the journey of discovery.
