Holding on

Ah, the beautiful paws of a sphynx cat. I took this picture in 2014 at the Cat Show in Birmingham, UK. Where many cats were exhibited in the hopes of winning an award. Many people walked up to this owner asking her questions about the sphynx, and the most prevelent one was about whether or not it had furr, I can tell you that it has a beautiful velvety coat (in case you were wondering).

What I am wondering about are really to things: one – what is the questions that people keep on asking about you that you kee having to answer time and time again, and your patience is wearing thin about it; two what are you holding on to in a similar way like the paws are holding onto the hand?

I am wondering what is it about your SELF that if you let go of you would struggle to replace, and therefore you are not letting go, because you are afraid?

I am also wondering what is it that you carry around within, that if you actually let go of, you feel feel lighter, brighter and more balanced?

And of course if you have been reading my blogs this question may have come up before, do you have the answer yet?

Did you know that your body keeps the score? If you do not, I reccomend you search for this very sentence “the body keeps the score” and see what pops up.

Every thought; every feeling; every statement resounds within our body, and if we always have the same thought, the body will start believing it and crave that very thing. So when I ask what are you willing to let go, I am really asking your body to expell it and of course the mind to instruct the body. And again if you have been reading my entries you may have come across the idea of you becoming the captain of your own ship?!

Do you now feel like and emotional hoarder? Now imagine for every negative thought you have you put a pebble in your pocket, and then another negative thought comes up and you put another pebble in your pocket, and another and another, I wonder how heavy would your pockets be?! Now imagine that for every negative thought you resolve and you transmute to a different state of being, and then for every transmuted idea you let go of a pebble from the pocket, do you think you will get lighter?

Also if for every negative thought you hold on to, any negative expereince, every fialure, every rejection etc, you brought garbage/rubbish into your house, how long before your house was a rubbish dump and less of a house? Well again if we equate all those negative things we hold onto in our mind and body, how do you think your mind an body feels?

If you are holding on, are you willing to let go?
