The rain creating ripples in water, I find if fascinating how small droplets can cause such chaos in still puddled. And of course if was well worth getting a bit wet to get this picture.

Sometimes when I contemplate my day job I wonder how what I say to clients impact on them. Perhaps it can be just insignificant with no impact at all, or the smallest of observations can cause a ripple effect. Often in my work I do not know how it impacts as I work with human beings and therefore I can not be them to see or understand what has changed. I go in every day and in every encounter with the greatest hope for them, that what we speak of it will have the greatest effect. I am also conscious that no change can happen in the conscious mind, therefore I need to appeal to the unconscious. I have to be the tiny droplet of water causing the splash and coalescing with other splashes and building momentum. Sometimes the wok is all about “drip, drip,drip”, and slowly chipping away, or can be like a flood taking over everything, it all depends on the person.

When you look at your life, what is the ripple effect you are causing in the world? What splash have you made so far? IS your ripple just a one time thing, or are you joining forces across time and space?
