A trout swimming in clear water over a bed of rocks and aquatic plants.

I took this picture in the summer, whilst we visited Bambury – the water in the brook was so clear that we were able the fish swim up and down. On a warm sunny day, it was a delight to enjoy the sound of the water as it bobbed down stream.

Today this stream is reminding us about the importance of seeing things through. If the water was not clear enough I would never have been able to take the picture, but I guess for us – seeing things through has a completely different meaning.

For us humans “seeing things through” means actually finishing what we have started, if you make a promise/if you set a goal if you decide to do something differently, you have to be able to finish off what you have started.

For me, completing 365 of daily blogs will be something that I have seen through this past year. For me it was all about making sure that each day, I found an image and I completed an entry. At time of writing this I am 27 days away from completing the goal I set myself. And once the goal is achieved, the question will come up, what now? For me it will be about re-immersing myself in a project of a different dimension and feel, and yet I would have seen things through to the end for this chapter of my life.

What is it that it still hasn’t completed for you?

What have you started and never finished?

What has happened in your life that was left hanging, and there was no closure?

What is still hanging around, that should have been released a long time ago?

Are you holding on to things that perhaps are just keeping you tied to a past that is open ended?

How can you see things through to the end, so that those cycles do not get re-ignited?

Is keeping things open ended in your best interest still?

If you would like to explore thing further, why not book with me and allow me to help you find your path to self.
