The lush green of the Azores

As I look through the collection of images I captured, this reminds me of the beauty of the Island of St. Miguel. And now through the vehicle of internet you can bring some of it into your Livingroom.

Visit my Redbubble store, to secure one of these beautiful items for yourself, or as a present to a loved one, maybe even consider it for your office, the possibilities are endless.

St.Miguel Island -Azores

In July 2023 I joined a group of fabulous women, as part of the “Awakening of the guardians” retreat. The trip was to the Island of St. Miguel – Azores.

Some of the images from that trip are now making their way to my Redbubble store.

This series of images are available in a variety of products. Just follow the link and delight in the plethora of gifts and ideas for your own home.

Memories from the Pyramid

If you followed my blog so far, you may have seen an entry, at one point, that in February 2022 I joined thousands of people for an event near and in the Great Pyramid of Giza.

One of the tasks was to do a sort of a meditation/connection in the Great Pyramid during the night. The task I was part of ,was to become “ the spiral of energy which connects realities”.

For our task we connected with the masters of the 5th dimension and helped upload information to the global network of Earth.

On 25/03/23 a year and a moth since that event I reminisced with one of the travelers about the event. It reminded me that when I came out of the Great Pyramid, after the task was done, that I took a few photos from the garden of my hotel. Below is one of the images I captured that morning. This is of course is an inverted version, so as to see, that which with the eyes could not be perceived, but the camera captured.

The same little dots a bit further on:

I am not saying that something was present during that evening above the pyramids. But, there is no denying that something was paying attention to all those energetic connections.

The Pyramids in Giza, have been the subject of speculation for years, of who built them, what was the purpose. What I know is that when I was inside, sitting behind the sarcophagus, in the King’s chamber…something interesting happened. During our meditation, we were told that we were connecting with the masters from the 5th dimension. That, a master who is closest to us in frequency would be standing behind us, and at the right moment they will download that which is needed. Sitting behind a block of granite under hundreds of stones inside a chamber, there was no way I should have experienced wind, not when it was 4am, but the wind I felt. So, when some dots appeared on my photos, I was not surprised.

Sometimes mysteries just happen before your eyes.

Who am I and why does it matter?!

Today’s day is one of reflection and surprise.

One of my clients today spoke of the very title of what I envisaged as a self transformatove course. This client mentioned how they are at a point in their lives where they are wondering who are they? What is their purpose? What is next? Why did they matter? This client also reflected back on how for years we attend school and we are being given a prescripted life, to then be told go out there and be who you want to be.

As I was sitting in reflection, it dawned on me how what they were saying, is the very topic of a course I would like to run for adultsx who want to discover what is indeed their excitement.

Often we have thoughts that become reality, throught the voice of others and when that happens a real transformation takes place. We connect with aspects of self that we felt unheard or not listened to, and provide (as by magic) a platform to acknowledge what is required.

Would you be interested in re-discovering who you are, and why does it matter?

Task ongoing

Time to set off for another adventure in the great network of consciousness.

Once again I am embarking in supporting the planetary task with the YO SOY family this time in Argentina.

A 20.5 hour journey is taking me to Capilla Del Monte where alongside hundreds of souls from across the globe we will reconnect the network.

In February 2022 I travelled to Egypt to complete the initiatic parth along the Nile culminating in an event outside the puyramids. In November 2022 we are completing the download into the network, all the infirmation we picked up in Egypt.

Sometimes we need to answer the call and launch into the void and flow.

Message from the coffee cup

Just for fun – today’s message from the coffee cup is the story of the dragon that flew towards Stonehenge under the watchful eye of a unicorn or maybe a bird. And when he arrived at Stonehenge the light of the Orion belt shone down through the vortex of light. What was the reason for the Dragon to connect with the Orion system…well that I leave it to your imagination. :)

Have a fab day!

Message from the coffee cup

Let’s start a new trend. Well, I did this on my Instagram story last year, whereby I would pour my morning coffee and I would see what pattern emerges from the foam. It was just an observation, by chance, at first. Now I actively look and see what emerges.

Like the phoenix from the ashes

Pyrography afternoon

Have you ever tried pyrography? I guess many have not.

This Saturday I picked up my “pen” and started etching.

Pyrography is basically using a heated metal nib to etch designs into wood.

Last year, I picked up a bunch of wooden blanks in the craft shop, thinking that I could create some “pucks” with designs on them to include them as presents with my other pendants.

This week however I reconsidered that idea and instead I decided to turn them into pendants.

Each wooden pendant is double sided, and have geometric patterns on them. The intention was to use geometry to create beauty, just like in nature. Some patterns repeat themselves, as I believe more people may need these codes in their lives, some will stay as unique pendants.

The collection is available in my Folksy store.

Join me as we create a beautiful world, one geometry at the time.

Where are we in the story?!

Last year in January 2021 I made a promise to myself to write a daily blog on discovering the self using images, that project came to an end January 2022. I used images I captured myself as a starting point for my Patreon entries. I chose Patreon in the hopes that people can become my Patrons and therefore help me move from having a 9-5 day job, to a more creative free range method of earning a living. The Patreon posts for the 365 project will continue to be available for the foreseeable future, and perhaps I may even turn it into a book. Will see….

Of course, if you think that those Patreon entries were helpful to you, you can always become a patron, either there, or here via Paypal :)

But what I did want to talk about, is why I have been silent since my last entry on 11.01.22

I have taken a break from adding entries, as I took part in a conscious quarantine and then I joined a group of 143 other humans on a trip on the Nile, just to join a further 1856 souls at an even near the Great Pyramid in Giza.

For the year 2021 I joined the online and real life community of YO SOY. We explored the different aspects of what it means to be human, and we connected in a network of consciousness.

What did it mean to do a conscious quarantine? It meant immersing myself in the web of knowledge that helped me connect with a particular part of the world, and then represent that part of the world during the event in Giza.

The trip on the Nile was a path of consciousness in itself, we visited the temples and connected with the knowledge through time and space. We used our voices to create the connection, and we used vibration to reach the information.. For a week on the Nile we flowed like the water.

In the next few weeks, I will be posting once a week, where I will be talking about my Egyptian trip and will be sharing images with you, and perhaps short recordings, to give you an insight in what we experienced, and if it resonates the world may become wider and more encompassing for you. We all have our own path that we are walking, and there is no wrong turn, it is just a different experience.

I may also post other times also, using an image to continue the exploration of self.

To all my readers so far, I THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRESENCE, and I HONOR YOU FOR YOUR BIRTH AND YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THIS HUMAN EXPERIENCE, WE ARE ALL BUT A SMALL NEURON IN THIS UNIVERSE, CONNECTING AND EXPERIENCING.WE ALL HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY ON THIS PLANET, WE ARE PART OF THE ECOSYSTEM, THE WORLD WOULD BE LESS WITHOUT YOU IN IT.

Silversmithing

Today I made a leap in my jewellery making from wire wrapping to silversmithing.

It has been a dream of mine for the past few years to learn how to solder, and this September (2021) I held the blow torch in my hand for the first time.

These are two silver rings that I made during a “ring in a day” session in November. I love both these concepts, one is very feminine, with a flower, very different from my own style, but somthing I will wear with love. The second ring is geometical, something much more in tune with my logical brain.

I am sharing them today as I feel these two ring are a start to a brand new adventure for me.

You may even have a chance to purchase the geometeical ring at some point in one of my shops. Until then, head over either to http://www.gabriellaszekely.folksy.com or http://www.gabriellaszekely.etsy.com for umique wire wrapped handmade jewellery.

Wire wrapping

Hello all. When I started this website it was dedicated both to my photography and my jewellery making but I feel like I have been neglecting the jewellery side somewhat. At the week-end I have done a bit of film editing of my Instagram live videos, I condensed down what would be 4 hours of video to a fast 10 minute and 4 minute videos.

This is a moss agate wire wrapped in silver wire – this of course is available in my Etsy shop, I say of course, but you probably have not seen it yet. The whole process did take about 4 hours to create it from start to finish; I uploaded the condensed video of just over 10 minutes here. I created this piece live on Instagram, so I re-used the footage to showcase my process.

This pendant was also created during an Instagram live event, once again the whole process took just over 3 hours, the footage I condensed the live footage to just over 4 minutes, and you can see it here. This piece can be purchased in my British online shop on Folksy.

These pendants and many more are available in my two shops, I do ship internationally, and if your budget may be tight, get in touch, give me a shout, let’s see what we can do via my shops. Of course a like will never go amiss either.

Thank you for taking the time to watch, visit or read this blog.

Catch you on the interwebs team.

Pop-up virtual market

Just a quick shout out to everyone – from the 17th to the 18th April 2021 my Etsy shop is part of a virtual market organised by The Pop Up Emporium a British platform who promotes markets for British artists.

Over 90 jewelry pieces are available to travel to forever homes globally. And if you live in the UK and shop during the time of the market anything over £25 at checkout gets free domestic delivery. Click here cupon included in the link.

As part of the market I am also doing a live craft demonstration from 1 pm UK time, and will be live on my Instagram for at least 3 hours :) Takes about that long to create a wire wrapped pendant.

If you wish to find out about the art of wire wrapping, do read this blog entry to find out what wire wrapping means to me.

Thanks for visiting.

Random acts of kindness

Today 17/02/21 is the “random acts of kindness day” and to celebrate on my Etsy shop I have 15% off for 24 hours. Type in KINDNESS at check-out and if the cart is £20 or over, your discount applies. You can send a beautiful hand made wire wrapped wearable art piece to a friend or to yourself. Click here

Random acts of kindness is something that is indeed dear to my heart, as this can help someone understand that the human family is indeed a family. When you help out a perfect stranger because you have the means, the kindness you showed ripples through time and space and unites us all in love.

“Paying it forward” is another way to show that one day someone believed in you enough to help you out, so that when the time comes and you have the means to do so, you can in turns brighter up someone else’s day.

Hope you have a wonderful day out there in the world, and that someone thinks of you today.

Send a virtual hug, or give an actual hug, say a nice word to your neighbor or engage in conversation someone who seems to need it.

To you my reader, I send gratitude and wish you a wonderful day wherever you are in the world.

YOU MATTER, YOU ARE SPECIAL, YOU ARE LOVED.

Craft demonstration videos

At the start of December 2020 I took part in the Folksy Christmas market with my Folksy shop. During the two days of the virtual market, I did some live demonstrations on my Instagram feed. Of course I saved these videos as a way of showcasing my process of creating a pendant and you can hear me speak about some of my pendants that were available on the day, or continue to be available on my Folksy Shop.

At the time I was live for about 8 hours in total.

I completed the two pendants below during the live event.

I you wish to see the process you can head to my Instagram feed and watch them all, or click on the links: Agate slice video 1; Agate slice video 2; Labradorite pendant video 1; Labradorite pendant video 2.

The footage was not edited, it is “as it was recorded” – so if it makes you chuckle; just go with the flow and I thank you for joining me for the journey.

ONLINE CHRISTMAS MARKET 2020

Giving to charity 2020.

Yup, this year I decided for every piece of jewellery I sell in the run up to Christmas, I will donate £1 per item sold to a local charity dear to my heart.

I already offer FREE postage in the UK, contributing to a lower price for the buyer, but I commit to also donating to charity.

If I sold all my 200+items that would mean £200 to charity, at a time when as a human family we need to work together to help each other navigate 2020.

In total I was able to donate £10+ Gift Aid to two charities in the UK, following the sale of 10 items in the run up to Christmas 2020.

My two online shops are on Etsy (US platform) and Folksy (UK platform). Each shop has a unique stock.

How crafty are you?!

If you are an native English speaker, I mean how skilled are you at craft :) Yes, I know…bad jokes…I’m famous for them.

Moving on… :)

I was thinking maybe we could try out a survey to find out how creative are you.

Yeah, I know…surveys OMG … not another one?! Well, you do not have to if you do not want to, but if you do and you have some time, basically I have a bunch of questions that will show me how creative my followers are, and how easy is it for them to be strictly creative in only one aspect.

I personally find it super hard to only stick to one thing; as you can see by my posts :) and I am always trying to do something new.

So…if you want to take part in our little fact finding mission…this is the link to the survey (hope it works). I am not harvesting any personal data, I am not interested in your old pet name or even in your shoe size, I am interested in figuring out how creative we all are as a collective.

The link will open in a new page and has a total of 6 questions, it will run until about December time, and then will publish the graphs or pie charts that this little questionnaire will generate :)

The link is below:

How crafty are you?!

Thank you for taking part.

Taking part in Etsy -FREE US shipping (was limited time only)- FREE UK SHIPPING (was limited time only)

Etsy as a shopping platform has been promoting the idea of free shipping to the US. I had a think of this concept and decided to join in as well. As we are talking a very strange 2020 – I thought I offer my shoppers that privilege.

Christmas shopping will be starting in earnest soon; so thought I offer my shoppers that little bit extra help.

What does this mean you say?

Basically my higher priced items come with free US shipping the rest of the items need to make the $35 dollar mark before they qualify for the free shipping. -THIS OFFER HAS ENDED

However if you do buy multiple items and if fits within the weight limit then shipping costs will be lower as you only pay for the main shipping cost which is £12.68 and any purther item postage will only be £2 extra, rather than the full price of shipping once again. So bundling in multiple items saves on shipping costs.

What about the UK?

My price ranges have been optimized across all items and tried to keep prices fair across the board. UK CUSTOMERS GET FREE SHIPPING – in the run up for Chritsmas.

Do get in touch and we can have a chat about things.

Head over to my Etsy shop and have a look – click ME

The Guild of Jewellery designers

I recently joined the Guild of Jewellery Designers in the UK.

Why is this news you ask? It allows me to use their logo; provides YOU the buyer the confidence that I am serious about my craft; and I hope it will give my visitors that extra re-assurance that all my items are handmade.

I do not have a presence on the high-street; therefore as one famous UK advert used to say every little helps.

Joining the guild also gives me the chance to speak to other UK jewellery makers and exchange ideas, develop my craft further; and explore new avenues of creativity.

Pink opal pendant

This simple yet elegant silver pendant is made using 0.99 silver wire. 7g of wire was intertwined for a simple elegant design.

The centre stage is taken up by a delicate pink opal sourced from SaraGemsCo (Etsy) – country of origin -India. Sarah had this to say about the pendant “You are really a great and skilled artist. You really made this pendant a beautiful art piece. You turned only wires and a cabochon into a pendant without any silver welding joints. We really appreciate your Work. We know it takes so much time, work and skill. Hats Off to your Beautiful Work. “

Due to the delicate colouring of the stone; I wanted to create a simple design to showcase the beauty of the gem.

The piece will come in an organza bag for safe storage and a 21 inch silver plated chain free of charge.

*Though I used silver wire for this piece; like all metals silver will age; so please cleaning gently with no harsh chemicals.
Preferably do take it off prior to a shower or a bath; as it may tarnish the wire.
Always rotate your jewellery pieces; wearing one item all the time may tarnish the piece; having different pendants on creates a new look.

Christmas collection

This amazing limited edition collection was available to buy on my Etsy Christmas 2017.

A new collection will be created for 2018.

As I believe in recycling all stones will be given a new lease of life.

Life taking one day at a time

How do you celebrate life? How do you tell people that life is not just about the work; that is about the individual; that it is about other people; that is about the relationships with people.

One liner

Best one liner i have heard in a long while…this spoken by a police officer by Buckingham Palace in London, whilst I was passing through the crowd that was staring at the changing of the guards. Well this poor tourist was trying to get a better look at what was going on …but to his bad luck the policement spotted him as he climbed onto the wall…with the typical coolness of a British officer he proceeded at discouraging the tourist with kind words, which were as follows:

“The Queen doesn’t climb on your wall at home so don’t climb on hers either.”

Who says the British police doesn’t have a sense of humour. Mind you if this poor tourist was as unfamiliar with the English as most….did not get the jest of half of what the copper said…but never mind… i had a laugh.

Lunar Eclipse

This in only one of the beautiful pictures captured during the lunar eclipse on the 21st February 2008 .What a wonderful sight an eclipse is….shows how small we are relative to everything else.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RICH AND POOR PEOPLE

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”

“It was great, Dad.”

“Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked.

“Oh yeah,” said the son.

“So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father.

The son answered:

“I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.”

The boy’s father was speechless.

Then his son added, “Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.”

Isn’t perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don’t have. Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

“Life is too short and friends are too few.”

The Law’s of Jante

The Law’s of Jante- something i discovered today whilst reading up on some myspace blogs they are:

  1. You shall not believe that you are somebody.(You must believe that you are the most unworthy of all: For since we only in the capacity of ourselves own the presupposition to recognize and comprehend our own conceptions that we project upon anybody; then everything and everyone must be as selfpitying and – therefore also – as evil as you only then may feel.)
  2. You shall not believe that you are as worthy as us. (You are to believe that you are as unworthy as anyone; for only then you will despise yourself adequately enough so that you have no self-respect to grant anyone, but will make them feel as disrispected by you as you only then feel by them.)
  3. You shall not believe that you are any wiser than us. (You must believe that you are as stupid as anyone, and that everyone in the School of Life has as little to learn from each-other; for only then you will recognize the fact that you own the best basis to create some destructive conception of yourself to despise and ridicule anyone through.)
  4. You shall not imagine that you are any better than us. (You are to imagine that you are as bad as everyone else; for only then you will grant anyone to feel as bad as you do.)
  5. You shall not believe that you know anything more than us.(You shall believe that you know less than everyone about how you best can be yourself in your particular manner; so that you can grant yourself the ability to realize that this is so for everyone else as well.)
  6. You shall not believe that you are any more than us.
  7. You shall not believe that you are good at anything. (You must be aware that you aren’t good at anything; for only then you will realize that everyone else isn’t good at anything too.)
  8. You shall not laugh at us.
  9. You shall not believe that anyone cares about you! (You must believe that no-one that relate themselves to you cares for you; for only then you will grant yourself the presupposition you need in order to despise anyone for any reason; at the cost of their particular premises.)
  10. You shall not believe that you can teach us anything! (You shall believe that you have nothing to teach anyone; for only then you will allow yourself to realize that no-one has anything to teach you either.)

How many of you recognise this in your every day life? How many of you felt out of place at one point or another in your lives? How many of you feel you are a pupet after reading these laws? HOW WAKE UP AND ULEARN ALL THIS!!!

1.You must realize that you are as worthy as the sum of everyone and everything else put together: For since we only in the capacity of ourselves own the presupposition to recognize and comprehend our own conceptions that we project upon anybody; then everything and everyone must be as worthy as we. You are exceptional.

2.You are to believe that you are as worthy as everyone; for only then you will respect yourself adequately so that you have enough self-respect to grant anyone to feel as worthy by you as you only then feel by them. You are more worthy than anyone can measure.

3.You must believe that you are as wise as anyone, and that everyone in the School of Life has as much to learn from each-other; for only then you will recognize the fact that you don’t own any basis to create some destructive conception of yourself to despice or ridicule anyone through. You can do something special.

4.You are to imagine that you are as good as everyone else; for only then you will grant anyone to feel as good as you do.You have got something to give to others.

5.You have done something you can be proud of.

6. You shall believe that you know more than everyone about how you best can be yourself in your particular manner; so that you can grant yourself the ability to realize that this is so for everyone else as well. You’ve got a bundle of unused resources.

7.You must be aware that you are good at something; for only then you will realize that everyone else is good at something too.You are good at something.

8.You must laugh together with everyone, so that they will feel included, welcome and appreciate them selves when they reside in your company; enough to appreciate you for the same reason. You can accept others.

9.You shall believe that you have something to teach everyone; for only then you will allow yourself to realize that anyone has something to teach you. You’ve got the capability to understand and learn from others

10.You must believe that everyone that relate themselves to you cares for you; for only then you will grant yourself the presupposition you need in order to care for anyone for any reason; within their particular premises. There is someone who loves you.
